We just received word of some devastating news. Actress Brittany Murphy passed away earlier this morning due to cardiac arrest. The talented actress starred in several hit films including; Clueless, 8 Mile, Little Black Book, Don’t Say a Word and the animated TV series, King of the Hill.

One thing that I can say is that Brittany will be missed.

According to numerous reports, Brittany Murphy was found unconscious in the shower by her mother, who call 911 in a desperate attempt to save her daughters life. The call came through to Los Angeles City Fire Department at 8:00am this morning.

Brittany was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where she was pronounced DOA.

Brittany’s rep has issued the following statement, according to TMZ:
